Reese Witherspoon started seriously pursuing acting when she was enrolled at Stanford University. Her early successes in her acting career included movies like Pleasantville and Election however, her performance in the film Elle Woods was the turning moment for her. Witherspoon was honored with the Academy Award, in 2005 in her role as Walk the Line. Water for Elephants, This Means War, and Wild are a few of her most recent films. Witherspoon received a second Oscar nomination for Wild. The success of Witherspoon also grew to the world of television. She was a co-star in David E. Kelley's award-winning TV program Big Little Lies and a producer. Witherspoon was born Laura Jean Reese Witherspoon on February 22, 1976, on the 22nd of March in New Orleans Louisiana. In 2003's film The Invisible Man she had her first feature-length role. From there she was able to make appearances on a range of TV shows, including House of Lies Whitney and Better Call Saul. Film credits include The Dictator, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and The Dictator. As well as her profession as an actress, Sheila is also a talented artist who has shown her artwork in a variety of galleries.
