Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress best known for her role as a star of the Freeform Fantasy Series Shadowhunters and Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' que te are enamored. Emeraude is also a skilled model and dancer. She was born in Montreal and has resided in Texas since her childhood and always enjoyed performing. She has been trained since her childhood in a number of diverse forms. As a 15-year-old was when she began competing in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention during 2008 after she was a part of the second season of the Univision beauty pageant show Nuestra Belleza Latina. She began acting in 2010 when she played an office receptionist in an Telemundo episode. She also was a part-time actress in her first feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
